This course is about the theories and approaches used in ergonomics, aka human factor studies, covering theoretical topics on human-centered design, psychological principles used in engineering psychology, usability and user interface evaluation, cross-cultural design, interaction design, human-robot interaction, and healthcare. User study experiment is a part of the course and we conducted an experiment on the effect of artificial facial expression on interaction with NAO, a personified robot.
